This is the most epic, awesome, and beautifully detailed drawing of a German Shepherd I've ever seen! I am a HUGE fan of GM shepherd's and you did an awesome job of capturing every detail! The face looks so realistic, the paws are realistic, and the body posture is magnificent! I give this piece of art five stars on everything because it is so beautifully drawn! I also love how you put the tones on the fur. I think that anyone who sees this deviation should give it five stars cause it deserves them. Keep up the awesome work! ~Blazefire
Vision: Well first off, I LOVE your fur. This is just a great drawing with so much to offer in the ways of highlights and shading!!
Originality: The pose, though just a side view, is practical and shows much of the animal. You can get a lot from this, from anatomy, to fur direction, and paws. I LOVE the paws. Something I have always had trouble with.
Technique: As I have said before I love the fur. Just how you shaded, and the pattern its in, blows me away. All the detail and depth you give it! It really looks 3D like you could touch it. It has a very "grabable" feeling of perspective. Only thing I could say to work on is the pose. For a character ref this is EXCELLENT to show off patterns, markings, and such, but other then that, I would say a ¾ view would be more “fun” to look at
Over all I love this. You have a very unique style that is so fun to see and work with. Thank you so much for this excellent drawing!
Um just wondering could I possibly use this as part of a company logo? I kind run a very small company called "Baddog Games Co." and this would work greate in the logo.
